Create Your Account
Go to thecleanentry.com and click Sign Up
In the top navigation bar, click Sign Up. One account covers both football and golf — you only need to do this once.
Fill in your name, email, and password
Full Name — Your real name. This is how the admin matches your entry to your payment.
Email — Used to log in. One account per email address.
Password — At least 6 characters.
You're logged in — you'll see your name in the banner
After hitting Create Account you're logged in immediately — no email verification needed. Your first name appears in green below the site title in the top banner, and the nav shows Dashboard instead of Log In / Sign Up.
Join the Football Pool
Click Football in the nav
From anywhere on the site, tap Football in the top navigation. This takes you to the season standings page.
Click Join
On the football standings page, click the Join button in the top-right of the standings card.
Enter your pool name and join
Pick the name that will appear on the leaderboard — your real name, a nickname, whatever you want. Then click Join Season.
Make Your Pick
You land on your personal picks page
After joining, you land here automatically. Every week this page shows the available games. Each game shows two team buttons — tap the team you want to pick against the spread. The team buttons and the official scoring spread are highlighted in red.
Reading the spread
Each team button shows the official scoring spread (highlighted in red). The three reference sportsbook lines — DK, FD, and MGM — are shown below each game highlighted in blue.
If you pick North Carolina, they must win outright or lose by 7 or fewer.
Tap a team to lock in your pick
Tap either team button to submit your pick. There are three ways to confirm your pick was recorded (all highlighted in yellow in the screenshot): a confirmation message at the top of the page, your selected team button highlighted, and your pick appearing in the history at the bottom of the page.
You can change your pick as many times as you want before the deadline. Deadline: Wednesday noon Pacific each week.
Coming Back Each Week
Go to thecleanentry.com and check the banner
If your name appears in green in the banner — you're logged in. If not, click Log In in the nav and sign in with your email and password.
Click My Picks → on the welcome card
The welcome card on the home page takes you directly to your football picks page. Make your pick before Wednesday noon Pacific.
Check your standings
Your current points, record, and rank are shown at the top of your picks page. Full standings are on the Football page.

Create Account & JoinEnter a Tournament
Click Golf in the nav
From anywhere on the site, tap Golf in the top navigation. This shows all four majors and their status.
Click Submit Entry on the open tournament
Each major has its own entry. Click Submit Entry next to the upcoming tournament you want to enter.
Enter a pool name and pick your 5 golfers
Choose a leaderboard display name, then select 5 golfers from the field. Golfers are organized into tiers — you must pick across tiers to keep things fair.
How Scoring Works
Best 4 of your 5 golfers count
Your score is the combined to-par total of your 4 best-scoring golfers who survive the cut. Your worst performer or any missed cut is dropped automatically.
Lowest combined score wins
Under par is good. The entry with the lowest combined score wins 50% of the pool. 2nd place gets 30%, 3rd gets 20%.
Withdrawals and disqualifications are treated the same as a missed cut.
Picks lock before Thursday tee time
The exact lock time is shown on the entry page. Once locked, you cannot change your picks.
Tracking Your Results
Check your entry page
Go to Dashboard in the nav, then click your golf entry. You'll see each of your 5 golfers, their current score, and your running total.
Full leaderboard
Tap Golf in the nav and select the tournament to see all entries ranked by score.
